Exsultate Deo, omnis terra!
(Rejoice and shout to God, all the land!)
For the gift of breath in our lungs,
For waking our spirit when morning comes;
For your light which illumines our night,
For shaking the darkness away with your Son;
Give us voice the skies may sound,
And give us voice to shake the ground;
Alleluias fill the air, for joy has chased away despair.
Shouts of joy now shape our prayer.
